One of our clients was preparing for the sale of their operations in Latin America. The approximately 2,100 employees working in that division needed to be decoupled from the central SAP SuccessFactors system and migrated to a separate SAP SuccessFactors instance.
Okta was able to perfectly support this divestiture scenario, and FuseLogic completed the migration within 2 weeks. To achieve this, the existing SAP SuccessFactors tenant was split and we added the additional tenant as a second Okta profile source.
Connecting the new source of truth for the affected users was a completely smooth process in Okta. This allowed the client's HR team to continue managing the existing Okta accounts as they were used to, without any impact on end users. The organization is now better equipped to flexibly manage users from an HR perspective and better prepared for the planned divestiture.
